Video surveillance regulations at Translandtsl Sp.z o.o. Spk.
Translandtsl Sp.z o.o. Spk. (hereinafter referred to as Translandtsl) has video surveillance covering the area around the building and the entrance hall.
The purpose of the surveillance is to:
- Ensure the safety of employees
- Protect property
The location covered by the surveillance is: Chorzów, ul. Katowicka 162e
Only the video footage from the surveillance cameras is recorded (without sound).

The method of fulfilling the information obligation: a pictogram on the doors at the entrance to the building, a pictogram placed on the entrance gate, the website www.translandtsl.com, and signing this Regulation by employees at the Chorzów location. Individuals in the monitored area are aware that surveillance activities are taking place where they are located.
The rights of individuals subject to surveillance include, among others:
- The right to information about the existence of surveillance in a specific location, its scope, purpose, the name of the entity responsible for the installation, their address, and contact details.
- The right to access recordings and receive copies in justified cases, unless there are any obstacles (e.g., other people in the recording).
- The right to request the deletion of data concerning them, except in situations where the person was involved in an incident and an investigative procedure is ongoing.
- The right to anonymize their image in recorded images and/or delete their personal data.
- The right to process data for a limited period.
- The right to object, provided that the objection is justified.
Rules for providing video surveillance recordings: only upon request from the police, prosecutor, or court for the purpose of analyzing an incident. Data is not transferred outside the European Union, is not profiled, and no automated decision-making process takes place.
Method and rules for using video surveillance: there is no continuous monitoring of surveillance recordings, surveillance is not used to check or track the daily work of employees, but only for use in the event of incidents or suspicions that such incidents have occurred, and for evidentiary purposes.
The video surveillance system at TRANSLANDTSL processes images from cameras: it can be observed in real-time by the management or stored only for the purpose of documenting incidents, but no longer than necessary to complete the relevant investigative activities. The standard retention period for recordings on the recorder does not exceed 90 days.
